Add 4.35 HP to Yamaha Rhino with K&N Performance Air Intake System

The Yamaha Rhino is taking the utility vehicle world by storm. Originally developed for work it has become one of the most sought after off-road toys.

The 63-1119 air intake system is a performance add-on for several Yamaha Rhino models. This air intake has a durable black powder coated aluminum intake tube with an oversized K&N High Flow XStreamÆ Top Filter for optimum air flow. Included is a K&N DryCharger filter wrap (to extend filter service interval), a chrome top crank case breather (for the engine's crank case vent hose), and a main jet to adjust for added air flow.

K&N Engineering developed a 63 Series AirCharger Intake System (63-1119) for the 2004 though 2006 Yamaha YXR660 Rhino. The powder coated aluminum intake tube is topped off with an oversized K&N High Flow XStreamÆ Top Filter for optimum air flow. K&N also includes a K&N DryCharger wrap which goes over the top of the K&N Air Filter. With the K&N DryCharger wrap in place, dirt and water are kept out of the K&N Air Filter increasing service intervals.

A simple bolt-on with K&Nís complete AirCharger Intake offers the stock Yamaha Rhino YXR660 an additional 4.35 horsepower. ìK&Nís Research and Development team has been working overtime,î said K&N Powersports Brand Manager John Jump. ìStarting from the ground and working their way up, the team opened up the stock Rhino with the development of this K&N Air Intake allowing it to breathe freely and provide maximum power.î
