Made from 1/4" UHMW.

This UHMW Skid Plate kit covers all of the crucial impact areas and provides a smooth uninterrupted surface for gliding over obstacles without getting hung up. The kit is designed to protect the underside of the chassis. The belly pan has very minimal drain holes to eliminate the chance of it catching on an obstacle and damaging itself. Mounts directly to the frame using original hole locations and stock hardware.

What is UHMW and why do we use it? UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) is an extremely durable polymer that is used in many applications where abrasion resistance and impact resistance is critical. UHMW will outwear carbon steel 10 to 1. Its slick surface makes it easy to glide over obstacles and will not dent or get hung up like traditional aluminum skid plates
